Good morning!

Another cool start to the day and basically another day just like yesterday. Rain chances are low but there could still be some rain later in the day and toward evening. The morning maps (300 mb isobars, water vapor, and temps) shows the closed upper level low starting to lift NE and that will brings us back into a more summer like pattern for a few days. Late this weekend and into next week, the upper level trough and closed low out west will be our weather maker. Notice the temperatures in the areas that are being influenced by the troughs versus the central part of the country.

Many of us are starting off cloudy this morning, and those clouds will linger around for most of the day and will aid in keeping the temperatures down as well. Here's a look at the temperature anomalies at 2 PM today.

We may see another upper level trough visit the eastern US later this weekend and into early next week, and that means more showers and cool weather.

We will be warming up here starting Saturday, and if you are to believe the Euro, Monday looks to be a hot one.

You better get out and enjoy the cool weather while you can! The days are getting longer for a few more days! My view this morning. 🙂 BTW, objects in the picture appear further away then they really are. 🙂

Have a great Wednesday!
