Good Thursday morning to you! 🙂

Hope the rain helped everyone sleep a little better last night, it was certainly coming down pretty good! Here are a few radar estimated storm rainfall totals from 4 of the NWS sites around us.

We will have several days to dry out before the much anticipated Tue-Wed time frame next week. The models are back and forth about the possibility of some snow, so we're low confidence on that right now, but we are very confident on the cold air that's coming.

The GFS has a front pushing through on Tuesday, and behind the front it brings an area of light snow over most of north Georgiagfs_t2m_b_atl_23.thumb.png.073a279d3c381b078ea261a9d5231197.png

This is my NWS forecast for now:

The Euro is not quite as gungho on the snow, but it too is bringing LOTS of cold air. The GFS is also trying to bring in an area of freezing rain  around the 2nd, so more to watch for, especially if the cold is cold than what is modeled right  now.

Exciting period coming up, and it holds the best chance for winter weather that we've had all winter.
