Thunderstorms are not expected across the Lower 48 states on Thursday. ...Synopsis... A large upper cyclone and attendant trough will persist across the eastern U.S. on Thursday, pivoting slowly east from the MS Valley toward the Appalachians. Meanwhile, an upper ridge will envelop much of the western half of the CONUS.
